Swimming - Academic Year 2023-2024
The national curriculum standard is that a pupil should be able to swim 25m by the time they leave their KS2 primary school.
In July 2024 the percentage of pupils in the Year 6 cohort who met the national curriculum requirement were
| Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres. | Use a range of strokes effectively. | Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations. |
